AirTouch uses a stream of air from a hairdryer to blow away shorter, finer hairs before applying lightener—creating the softest, most invisible root transition and protecting delicate hair fibres. We choose the best method (or combine both) during your consultation.

Should I book Balayage or Highlights?

Choose Balayage or AirTouch if you want to keep your natural root colour deeper with a soft transition into lighter lengths and a low-maintenance 3 to 4 month grow-out. Choose Highlights if you want blonde brightness starting right from the root. If you aren't sure, we decide together in the chair.

How long does a Balayage or AirTouch appointment take?

Because fine sectioning and gentle, low-peroxide lifting cannot be rushed, a full Balayage or AirTouch session takes 4 to 5 hours (typically scheduled at 10:00 or 15:00). Every session includes bond protection, custom toning, haircut, blow-dry, and complimentary drinks.

How often does Balayage or AirTouch need maintenance?

One of the biggest benefits of Balayage and AirTouch is longevity—you only need a full lightening session every 3 to 4 months. Because all toners are semi-permanent, we recommend a quick 6 to 8 week gloss and treatment refresh in between to keep the tone vibrant and hydrated.

Can I get Balayage on dark brunette hair without it turning orange?

Yes. Lifting dark hair safely without brassiness requires slow, low-peroxide processing so the hair lifts past the warm orange stage cleanly, followed by Metal Detox and custom-blended L’Oréal hyaluronic neutralising toners.
